Laminax™ Custom Copper Foil

Since 1982, Bridgeport Magnetics has designed and manufactured premium toroidal transformers and custom magnetics for demanding applications. Our Laminax™ line of copper foil laminates, available with PET (polyester) film or high-temperature polyimide film, was developed specifically for high-performance cuffed foil shielding and electrostatic shielding in toroidal and custom-wound transformers.

Unlike most competing products that are limited to PET constructions, Laminax is especially strong in polyimide-copper laminates for elevated-temperature, high-reliability, and tightly specified designs. PET-copper laminates remain available for standard-temperature and cost-optimized windings.
