About Us
Bridgeport Magnetics Group, Inc. is a privately held corporation located in
Shelton, Connecticut.
Our three business units were originally started as separate corporations.
Alpha-Core was founded in 1982,
Tortran in 1986 and
Goertz Audio in 1992.
These businesses became
divisions of Bridgeport Magnetics Group Inc. in 2008 when we moved
the businesses from Bridgeport, CT to our
own modern 40,000 sq. feet factory
in Shelton, Connecticut.
Founder Ulrik Poulsen and partner Sandu Pescaru are known in the industry as
leaders in the development of superior and economical products. |
